- Multiple Communication Modes: Text chat, voice calls, and video interactions

User Responsibilities
As a user, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating your account
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Use the service only for its intended purpose of emotional support
- Not use the service as a substitute for professional medical care
- Treat other community members with respect
- Not share harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
Payments & Refunds
Free Trial: New users receive a complimentary 3-minute trial for voice and video sessions. Text chat is always free.
Purchased Minutes: Minutes can be purchased in packages and do not expire. All purchases are processed securely through Stripe.
Refunds: Due to the nature of our service, purchased minutes are generally non-refundable. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service, please contact us for assistance.
Emergency Situations
Cancer Companions is not equipped to handle medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. For mental health crises, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
Limitation of Liability
Cancer Companions provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on conversations with our AI companions. Our service is intended for emotional support only and should not influence medical treatment decisions.
